Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster (French, 1965) is an influential cross-disciplinary artist working in video projection, photography, performance, and installation. Her work is considered a seminal part of the Relational Aesthetics movement, and she frequently collaborates with other artists, including
Philippe Parreno and Alain Bashung. She studied at the École du Magasin of the National Centre of Contemporary Art in Grenoble and later at the Institute des Hautes Études en Arts Plastiques, in Paris.
Her work has been exhibited at the Centre Pompidou, the Tate Modern, the Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, the Dia Art Foundation, among others.
