Timeline

Gaetano de Las Heras was a Spanish painter and sculptor. After his studies in Seville, he exhibited in Paris and obtained an honourable mention at the Salon des Artistes Francais in 1902.

His paintings suggest a pictorial style, which totally adopts the ‘Impressionist’ label. Revealing a freshness and luminosity, this scene conveys the atmosphere, embracing a fleeting moment.
