Moved to London to study English literature
1969
Commenced painting as an autodidact
1970
Took a SPACE Studio at St. Katherine’s Dock – first real contact with professional artists
1971
Exhibited in a mixed show in Berlin, subsequently invited to teach part-time at the Slade School of Fine Art – first association with the fine art establishment; One-man exhibition at Cardiff Arts Centre
1976
Commercial exhibition with Galleria del Cavellino in Venice as a result of which met Nigel Greenwood and exhibited with him from 1977 to 1987
1979
Since 1979 he has travelled extensively in connection with his work to places such as the Faroe Islands, Lappland, Greenland, Tasmania, Australia, Papua New Guinea and Siberia
