Paul Schwer (German, b.1951) is a German installation artist and professor of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts Münster in Germany. In the 1980s, Schwer studied at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf under
Erwin Heerich, whose ideas about space and form greatly influenced Schwer’s work.
