Timeline

Sharon Cavagnolo is a contemporary American painter who works most often in gouache with inks and graphite on board. Her works are abstract but hold suggestive images within their own context. Born in 1954 in NYC, she graduated from the High School of Art and Design, received her BFA from Parsons School of Design, and did graduate work at Pratt and NYU. Cavagnolo has exhibited her work in NYC and various galleries in CT and the Hudson River Valley. She lives and works in Chappaqua, NY.
