Skyler Grey

Skyler Grey is an American street artist working in spray paint, silkscreen, and acrylic. Citing Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring as artistic influences, Grey makes colorful paintings that frequently depict celebrities or cartoon characters. “My favorite artist is Kehinde Wiley. I am in awe of his work. He inspired me to evolve into an artist,” Grey has said. Born in 2000 in Los Angeles, CA, he received international acclaim from as early as the age of 13. Grey’s quick ascension to success has led him to be called the Fresh Prince of Street Art. The artist continues to live and work in Los Angeles, CA.
