1926: Born in Stratford, Ontario, Canada on August 13
1945–1950: Ronald was a graduate of the Ontario College of Art.
1954: Founder of the influential Canadian abstract art group "Painters Eleven."
1955: Ronald resented Toronto's lack of an artistic community and moved to the United States, eventually becoming an American citizen.
1957: Ronald shared a studio with Frank Stella and joined the stable of artists at Manhattan's Kootz Gallery.
1965: Ronald returned to Toronto in the 60's.
1998: Died in Toronto, Canada on February 9 at the age of 71.
