Timeline

Yasemin Teker Kemaloğlu was born in Ankara in 1961. She went to many countries because of her father`s diplomatic career so she was introduced to different cultures.
She studied at the Academy of Rome, Fine Arts in Italy from 1978 to 1982 and completed "Qualification in Art" Training.
She has participated in plenty of group exhibitions. She transfers to her canvas nostalgic subjects. Such as; Village, Town, City, Sea Coast, Topkapı Where The Ottoman Empire had lived, and women in European clothes during the years around 1940.
The artist says; "Looking at my paintings are must feel the Sun`s heat in his heart, Everything must be light and clear, Faces must be full of smiles, Sorrow and Pessimism are never included in my paintings."
