The fascination with rhythm, music and movement is captured in art in numerous works in concrete, symbolic or abstract ways. German Expressionism and the artists of „Brücke“ in particular understood music and dance as an expressive art form and depicted them momentarily. The subsequent art movements of Informel and Contemporary Art also take up the subject in a variety of techniques. At our booth 474 we are pleased to show you works by the following artists:
Ernst Barlach | Philipp Bauknecht | Pizzi Cannella | Theo Eble | Erich Heckel | Emil Nolde | Ernst Ludwig Kirchner | Georg Tappert | Hermann Max Pechstein | Berthold Müller-Oerlinghausen | Christian Rohlfs | Karl Schmidt-Rottluff | Fritz Winter
