Victoria Miro is delighted to participate in Frieze London (Booth C18) with new and historical figurative works by Kudzanai-Violet Hwami, Chantal Joffe, Chris Ofili, Celia Paul, Grayson Perry and Paula Rego. In addition, recent works by pioneering British conceptual artist Stephen Willats will be on view ahead of a major exhibition at the gallery this November on the occasion of the artist’s eightieth birthday.

This year’s presentation considers approaches to figuration, including aspects of portraiture and self-portraiture, and the role of myths and storytelling.New paintings by Kudzanai-Violet Hwami, Chantal Joffe and Celia Paul are presented alongside works by Chris Ofili, textiles, ceramics and sculpture by Grayson Perry, and significant historical works by Paula Rego, whose exhibition of works from the 1980s, Letting Loose, recently opened at the gallery.
