Timeline

: After graduating in Industrial Design, he began to work for an advertising design agency. It was while he gained experience in graphic design advertising that he launched his career as a painter. Jimmy Yoshimura is particularly talented in the representation of female characters from different eras, mixing old traditions with today’s excesses to great effect. His seductive and disturbing pieces are mostly a reflection of contemporary society, resulting in a bittersweet portrait of the Western world. Yoshimura exhibited numerous times in Europe and Japan.
: Yoshimura was born in 1981 in Karatsu on the Japanese island of Kyushu.
